Plain-language details about what QuoiDistance keeps and why.

What we collect

When you sign in, QuoiDistance receives your email address and, when available, your name from Google or ChatGPT.

We store the practice information you choose to add or create, including:

  • Your clubs, active bag, manual carry distances, and estimated carries.
  • Your stated practice goals or struggles.
  • Generated session plans, session status, favorites, and completion history.
  • Shot scores for contact, direction, and process; optional miss labels; process time; and optional launch-monitor carry distance.
  • Daily generation counts and your generated drill library.

We do not ask for payment information or precise location. QuoiDistance currently has no advertising trackers or third-party analytics.

How we use it

  • Provide your account, bag, session library, scores, and carry estimates.
  • Generate practice sessions that respond to your goals and measured weaknesses.
  • Research and save relevant drills, enforce the daily generation limit, and protect the service from abuse.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, and secure QuoiDistance.

The app operator has restricted administrator access to account names and email addresses, the session-generation inputs people submit, and the resulting session breakdowns. This is used to operate and improve the service. The administrator view does not display shot-by-shot entries, scores, carry results, or practice-performance history.

AI and service providers

To generate sessions and drill suggestions, relevant practice inputs—such as your active bag, stated focus, recent performance, session patterns, and saved drills—are sent to the OpenAI API. Requests are configured with API response storage disabled. Your email address is not placed in the prompt; QuoiDistance sends a one-way hashed safety identifier instead.

Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in. ChatGPT processes information when you choose ChatGPT sign-in or use the ChatGPT app. OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare provide hosting, database, networking, and security infrastructure. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, device details, and service logs under their own policies.

QuoiDistance does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and retention

Google sign-in uses an encrypted, HTTP-only session cookie that lasts up to 30 days. ChatGPT sign-in is managed by the hosting platform. Your application data remains until you delete your account, except where a service provider must retain limited security logs or backups under its own retention practices.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time. From the Account page, you can permanently delete your QuoiDistance profile and all application data tied to your email, including your bag, sessions, shots, favorites, performance history, drill library, and generation history. Signing in again later creates a new, empty profile.

You can also use your Google or ChatGPT account controls for data held independently by those providers. If you cannot access QuoiDistance to delete your data, contact the app operator through the same channel by which you received access.

Children and policy changes

QuoiDistance is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes; the effective date above will show the latest revision.
